I stopped at a number of locations on my hike down from Kanarra Creek Canyon. I was drawn to this image because of the sprinkling of snow (I don’t see much of that in Vegas), the tuft of green, the log and the red wall backdrop. I wanted to make sure it was all in focus so I employed focus stacking by blending three images focused on different points:the foreground rock, the log and the tree in the very back middle.
