Marble Canyon, Arizona

This is one of those images I almost didn’t take because it was mid afternoon with terrible light and clear skies. I ended up making the image more just to remember the sight and because I saw it as a perfect opportunity for focus stacking. With all the boulders spread out at different distances, focus stacking was perfect to ensure the entire frame would be in complete focus. I ended up taking 6 different images at different focal lengths and blending them in Photoshop. This image was made at the turnout for the Cliffdweller’s Lodge.
