Valley of Fire State Park is full of photographic opportunities. Unfortunately, I always seem to end up there in the middle of the afternoon and the light gets crazy harsh in the middle of the desert. I found these stones with great striations in the shade out of the harsh light, but the image was flat. I added some fake sun coming from the top left in lightroom to add some soft interest in the image.
