Stairs of Lisbon

Lisbon, Portugal

Because Lisbon is a city in the hills, the narrow winding streets between the buildings often lead to great staircases.  The graffiti-covered walls contrast with the green grass creeping through the cobblestone.

This staircase had less graffiti, but it had more of the great grass.  I also love the yellow wall and great light at the top of the staircase.
