Last summer, we did a family reunion with my wife’s family in Central Oregon. We flew into Portland a day early and I drive up to Panther Creek Falls early in the morning. I had seen images of this place for years and always wanted to go so I was pretty excited, but my expectations were blown away. I scrambled down to the base of the falls just after sunrise and shot for two hours all by myself. To have that kind of peace and quiet while shooting a waterfall this spectacular is incredible and I don’t know of anywhere else in the world you can do that with a waterfall as amazing as this one. I will be sharing a number of images from this location. This first one is a five-image vertical panorama.
