Glacier National Park, Montana

I made a big mistake on this image. I completely forgot about my shutter speed needing to be fast enough to keep the starts from blurring. Oops, that is why you don’t shoot night skies in a hurry! This image was made just down the street from our KOA camp sight in St. Mary. The mountains in the background stand over St. Mary Lake. The moon was so bright during our whole time in glacier, we didn’t get much in the way of stars and had no shot at the milky way, but it didn’t take much to get the scene lit.
