Of my three images made in this Aspen Grove (3 that I edited, I took at least a hundred frames), I think this one is my favorite. I know a lot of landscape photographers hate vertical orientation, but I actually really like it think it tells a better story most of the time. In this one, I was going for the height of the trees and the contrast with the sky rather then the density of the grove. I was a little disappointed in the sun star as I feel like it might be a little too big for this image. This is a four-image hdr.
