On the way to Page, Arizona from Zion National Park, I stopped a couple times at the southern border of Grand Staircase. On this instance, I stopped to shoot a beautifully striated set of mountains. As I was walking back to the car, this mushroom caught my eye as I usually don’t see a lot of mushrooms in the Southwest. It was tucked into a little piece of shade so the light was just barely hitting it.
