We spent our first morning in Costa Rica down at the private beach at the Andaz Papagayo by Hyatt. It was an awesome little beach in the bay where the kids could enjoy swimming and the adults took turns jet skiing. While we were relaxing, this giant lizard came strolling through. My one-year old loves animal and quickly chased him off, but I grabbed my camera and managed a few shots. Unfortunately, I had most of my settings, other than ISO, on auto so others could take photos while we were playing in the water. Since the lizard was on a relatively dark portion of the beach, the camera could only accomplish the low ISO by dropping the shutter length too slow to capture a sharp image.
