Sintra, Portugal

The Castle of the Moors is the first stop on the loop from Sintra. This is the oldest (I think) ruins and has been mostly left in its original state. It is what you think of when you think of an old castle. We got stuck in the rain so I didn’t have much time as we didn’t want to be dealing with wet grumpy kids for the rest of the day, but I wanted to get an image of one of the turrets as that is what I think of when I think of a castle.
