Avalanche Creek

Glacier National Park, Montana

The small area near where the Trail of the Cedars meets the trail to Avalanche Creek there are a ton of different amazing little photographic spots.  This one was probably my favorite as it has so many great elements.  The fallen log gives scale to the image, otherwise the waterfall would look much smaller than it actually is.  The red rock contrasts with the vivid water and I am always a sucker for waterfall.
