I saw this image while we were hiking out of the Narrows. My tripod was already all packed up so I did my best handheld. I felt comfortable dropping it to 1/30 sec. shutter speed, but had to open the aperture up and bump up the ISO to get enough light in at that shutter speed because the sun was still below the canyon walls.
