After fixing the flat tire, Aaron and I frantically searched for somewhere to shoot the sunset. We drove out Stonebreaker Lane to Cascade Lake and set up to shoot what we could find. We waited for a lot longer than we expected because the sun set behind pretty dense clouds and did not produce much color. We thought about giving up, but with nothing pressing, we decided to wait it out a while longer. Finally, when there was almost no light left, the sky blew up with pinks and purples.
I used my beloved Luzid ten stop ND filter to smooth the water out and capture some movement in the clouds.
