Smith Rock State Park, Oregon
July 29, 201718 mm: ISO 200: f/16: 1/4 sec.
This was the shot I was excited for at Smith Rock. Unfortunately, the sunrise offered no drama for me. This spot is near the top of the initial descent down into the river valley to get over to the trail head for the Misery Ridge Trail, which is pretty much a straight hike up to the top of that mountain.
This image was a beast as required shooting several frames for a panorama, and each of those frames required multiple exposures and multiple focal points. The final product is a combination of 27 different images blended together in Lightroom and Photoshop. There was also one other photographer who happened to be in my frame so I had to remove him as well.
