Selective Focus on Lisbon Street

Lisbon Portugal

January 1, 201750 mm: ISO 200: 1/180 sec.

The beautiful streets of Lisbon curve all through the town so it can be tough to find a nice long street like this that goes uphill so it stretches through the whole frame.  When I found this street, I wanted to shoot it, but was quickly disappointed because all the cars were just too distracting.  Then I had the idea to pull out my Lensbaby Edge 50.  I used the selective focus to blur out the cars so they were less distracting and pull the focus toward the colorful buildings.
