Rincon de la Vieja National Park, Costa Rica

While in Costa Rica, we took a morning trip to Rincon de la Vieja National Park. This is a rain forest on a volcano. Being in a rain forest, we, of course, experienced a lot of rain. The rain eventually stopped, but the first mile or so, we were in a pretty bad downpour. I tried to keep my camera under my shirt, but it was getting soaked so I finally gave in and put in in the Thinktank Harddrive bag I was testing out. When we got out of the trees and saw this view, I pulled my camera out quickly, let it get soaking wet as I grabbed one quick shot and put it back in the bag until the rain eventually stopped. I love the weather sealing on the XT1 as it has gotten plenty of rain and never had a problem.
