La Placa Catalunya at Night

Our first night in a new town, I always like to just walk around the busiest squares and get a feel for the town.  Our first night in Barcelona, we walked from our hotel down Las Ramblas to La Placa Catalunya.  It was a really fun evening with a lot happening.

I really liked this cool statue in the fountain, but I had a lot of trouble shooting it because I didn’t have my tripod with me.  I spent a lot of our days in Europe just taking the Platypod with me and it usually worked great, but in this situation, I needed to get a higher angle.  This was the best I could do by putting the Platypod on our stroller and trying to keep the stroller from shaking in the wind.
