This past summer we went on a family trip to Eagle Crest Resort in Central Oregon. Each morning, a handful of us went hiking. Photography wasn’t the goal so I didn’t take a lot of images and didn’t get up early enough for the sunrise, but I kept my camera with me just in case.
This hike was just a mile or so outside of the resort and was a flat hike through the desert that eventually ended up at the top of a big canyon. I didn’t take many pictures at all, but when I saw the sun coming through this great tree, I stopped to take some image images hand held.
