My other shot of the deer I ran across pre-sunrise at Smith Rock before our hike up Misery Ridge. I was surprised at how long the deer stayed and looked at me and how close he let me get. He was definitely a little spooked by me, but held his ground for a long time. I love those huge hears at full alert in this image.
